Andy Miyares

Andres Miyares is President of CC Homes, a Coral Gables-based homebuilding and land  development firm. An equity partner alongside founders Jim Carr and Armando Codina, Miyares is  responsible for the firm’s strategic planning and oversees all construction, land development,  financial, marketing, and administrative functions. 

Miyares has been with CC Homes since its founding in 2010 and served as Chief Operating Officer  from 2013 to 2022. During that time, the company has built over 5,000 single-family homes across  more than 20 communities. Active developments include Estates at Turnberry in Davie and Maple  Ridge in Ave Maria. 

Prior to joining CC Homes, Miyares led the Florida office of Higgins Development, a Chicago-based  national developer and property owner. He opened the firm’s Miami office in 2006 and oversaw the  development of more than 1,000,000 square feet of industrial projects. Earlier in his career, Miyares  spent four years as a project manager with Codina Development Group, following his work as a real  estate credit analyst for SunTrust. 

Miyares is actively involved with Baptist Health South Florida, serving on the Board of Trustees, as  chair of the Baptist Health Enterprises Board since October 2024, and holding several additional  leadership and governance roles across the organization. These include chair of the Facilities  Committee and membership on the Strategic Planning, Governance, and Nominating Committees,  among others. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and  a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College. He is also an alumnus of Christopher Columbus  High School in Miami. He and his wife Andria have four children.
