Camilo Miguel Jr. is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mast Capital, a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm established in 2006. He is recognized for his innovative approach to crafting developments that significantly contribute to the enhancement of communities. With a rich experience in real estate and finance, Mr. Miguel brings a deep understanding of investment strategies, intricate financial instruments, and project execution.Under his leadership, Mast Capital has established itself as a market leader in real estate, investing and developing high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality properties, particularly in regions with significant barriers to entry. Prior to his success with Mast Capital, Mr. Miguel founded and served as President of Vertica Group, a land investment and strategic development firm where he adeptly managed all facets of the business. Formerly he co-established Clear Title Group, a specialized firm in real estate title insurance.Mr. Miguel is a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Business Management. A dedicated community advocate and philanthropist, his commitment is evident through his active participation on several boards, including Friends of the Underline and the Real Estate Advisory Board at his alma mater. He is involved with the Urban Land Institute’s Southeast Florida Advisory Board, a member of the Board of Perez Art Museum, as well as The Center for Arts and Innovation where he also leads the building committee. Additionally, he contributes to the Urban Development and Mixed-Use Council (UDMUC) Red national council of the ULI.
