David Martin

Terra

As President of the award winning, Miami-based real estate development firm Terra, David Martin leads some of South Florida’s most impactful real estate developments with an emphasis on neighborhoods like Coconut Grove, Miami Beach, Doral, Weston and Pembroke Pines. Always looking to push the envelope and set his firm apart, David is enlisting some of the world’s top architects to design his projects. Examples include the Bjarke Ingels-designed Grove at Grand Bay and the Rem Koolhaas/OMA-designed Park Grove, two new luxury condos that are helping revitalize Coconut Grove. Eighty Seven Park, Terra’s newest project in North Beach, will be a 70-unit beachfront condo designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano. Terra is also developing the Modern and Neovita communities in Doral, as well as Botaniko in Weston, a master-planned community designed by Chad Oppenheim and Roney Mateu.

‍

Terra’s commercial projects underway across South Florida include two mixed-use developments in Coconut Grove: Mary Street, a retail and Class A office complex in the neighborhood’s commercial heart, and Grove Central, a multi-modal hub combining workforce and market-rate housing, retail, and improved transit connectivity. The firm is also developing the 16000 Pines Market and Pines City Center retail and multifamily developments in Broward County’s Pembroke Pines.

‍

David’s strong commitment to South Florida is underscored by the company’s active role in charitable, civic, arts and cultural organizations. With a unique interest in education, the arts and health foundations, David is actively involved in South Florida’s civic and business communities. He and his wife support several organizations with philanthropic contributions, Miami Children's Health Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Vizcaya Museums and Gardens, and the WolfsonianFIU.
