Ricardo Dunin
Oak Capital
Ricardo Dunin is the Founder and CEO of Oak Capital. He has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate markets of Miami, the Caribbean and Brazil.
Prior to Oak Capital, Dunin was a founding partner of Lionheart Capital and was responsible for developing two The Ritz-Carlton Residences projects in Florida, one in Miami Beach and another on Singer Island in Palm Beach, with a combined sellout value of more than $1 billion. In 2022, through Oak Capital, Dunin joined forces with Fortune International Group to develop his third Ritz-Carlton Residences project, this time in Pompano Beach. The project is expected to be completed in 2026 and has an approximate sellout value of $600 million.
More recently, Dunin’s Oak Capital partnered with Edifica, a Peruvian real estate developer, builder and fund manager, with the mission of developing condominium buildings under the Domus Flats and House of Wellness brands. This new company, North Development Group, is focused on quality and innovation, with the goal of differentiating itself in the market and becoming a trusted name in the development and hospitality industries. North Development will deliver the first Domus-branded building in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood in the first quarter of 2026 and has already begun construction on the second. The first House of Wellness development, also located in Brickell, will launch in the first quarter of 2026, with estimated delivery in the first quarter of 2028. A third Domus-branded project will be developed in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Together, these four projects will include approximately 2,000 residential units.
In 2022, Dunin launched Larks (www.larksentertainment.com), a family entertainment company created to serve the rapidly growing entertainment market and capitalize on the many recent positive changes within the sector.
Dunin is the owner of The Flagler Group. Founded in 1996, Flagler is a multifaceted Miami-based real estate development company that developed the Miami Airport Center and became a pioneer of the condo-hotel concept in South Florida in the late 1990s with The Mutiny and the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Coconut Grove, now known as the Arya Hotel.
Other notable Dunin projects include Le Sereno, a waterfront resort in St. Barth designed by Parisian designer Christian Liaigre, and The Meridian, a modern 111-unit luxury loft building in South Beach.
In Brazil, Dunin is a founding partner of Performance Empreendimentos Imobiliários, a Rio de Janeiro-based condominium, office and hotel development company. Founded in 2002, Performance has participated in approximately $1 billion in development projects.
