From Theory to Action: Mixed Use Developments in LA

At this year’s LA Forum, leaders from the renowned development firms Reuben Brothers, Wilson Meany, and Cain International are coming together in a panel to discuss the mixed-use projects they have coming to Los Angeles - and why vertical living and mixed-use developments hold the key to LA’s real estate future. The often press-shy David Reuben Jr. represents The Reuben Brothers of the famed Reuben Family, often cited as the third wealthiest family in the UK. The firm has its sights set on building mixed-use residences in Century City - recently raising billions to get it done. Larry Green from Cain Development LP & Cain International focuses on Beverly Hills, developing One Beverly Hills that aims to combine the iconic Beverly Hilton, Waldorf Astoria, and the new Aman Hotel into one urban LA destination. Rounding out the panel is Christopher Meany of Wilson Meany whose Hollywood Park development is set to build communities that combine retail, office, and residential; helping LA move away from single homes and into the 21st century with vertical living. Come here the reasons behind the neighborhoods they’ve chosen to develop in, the how and why behind building such ambitious projects, and the opportunities and changes that spring from mixed-use developments like theirs’.
