Bernardo Fort-Brescia FAIA is a founding principal of Arquitectonica and one of the leading voices in contemporary global architecture. Born in Lima, Peru, he studied architecture and urban planning at Princeton University and earned a Master of Architecture from Harvard University, where he later taught. In 1977, he co-founded Arquitectonica in Miami, helping redefine the city’s skyline with bold, modern designs. Under his leadership, the firm became a pioneer of architectural globalization, completing projects in 59 countries. A Fellow of the AIA, he has received the AIA Silver Medal and ULI Lifetime Achievement Award and remains active in academic and civic leadership.
