Jonathan Landau is a founding member and the Chief Executive Officer of Landau Properties. His vision, high energy, passion and determination establish the “gold standard” and “get-it-done” approach of the company. An attorney by training, Mr. Landau is a 20-year real estate veteran who has acquired, capitalized, developed and operated over $5 billion of properties in Austin, Boston, Dallas, Miami and New York.
Prior to co-founding Landau Properties, Mr. Landau was a founding member and CEO of Fortis Property Group, LLC for 17 years. Under his leadership, Fortis Property Group demonstrated itself to be strategic, smart and flexible, elevating properties and neighborhoods via office building repositionings and ground- up development projects. Recent transactions include a $1 billion refinance in Boston. Mr. Landau also practiced corporate/transactional and tax law with DLA Piper LLP for six years, primarily advising real estate companies on acquisitions, dispositions, syndications, joint ventures, entity-level investments, and tax- structured transactions. Mr. Landau holds a JD from the University of Maryland.
