With over $1 billion of properties sold, Filippa Edberg-Manuel is a Luxury Real Estate Expert and the founder of the Luxury Advisory Team at Christie's International Real Estate Group. Her experience in haute couture, design and marketing gives her a keen understanding of how to position and sell products of exceptional quality. She has sold some of the most expensive residences in New York, including a $74 million duplex, at the time the 8th-most expensive apartment sale ever recorded in the City.
Filippa is proud to have worked with many of New York's top Real Estate Developers, most recently serving as Associate Director of Sales for 520 Park Avenue, a 64-story limestone luxury condominium tower from Zeckendorf Development, designed by Robert A M Stern Architects. In 2018 her team achieved the #1 and #2 sales of the year. Achieving an average sales prices in 2018 of over $5,000/sq ft, they continued the trend the following year with over $285M in transaction volume and average sales prices of over $6,000/sq ft. Prior to her role at 520 Park Avenue, Filippa was a member of the #1 top-ranked team at the largest residential brokerage in Manhattan.
Fluent in English, French, Swedish, and Spanish, Filippa studied International Marketing at IMF in Sweden and Design at Fashion Forum in Paris, where she won the prestigious le Dé d'Or Award for young Haute Couture designers. She served as Fashion, Architecture and Design Editor for the French Ideat Magazine. As a fashion model with Wilhelmina Agency, she travelled the world representing brands including Chanel, Armani and Yves Saint Laurent.
Filippa holds designations of Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE) and Certified Buyers Representative (CBR). She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), and New York Residential Agent Continuum (NYRAC). She has appeared on the Today Show, CBS The Early Show, House Hunters, RAI1, TF1, Bravo, and The View.
Filippa has called New York home for 20 years. The daughter of a construction engineer, she has always had a passion for buildings, structures, and architecture. She owns and manages a portfolio of investment properties, giving her a keen understanding of the concerns of investors, purchasers and sellers alike.
