Glen Weiss is Executive Vice President – Office Leasing and Co-Head of Real Estate at Vornado Realty Trust, one of the nation’s leading REITs and a blue-chip owner, operator and developer of real estate assets concentrated in New York City along with premier assets in Chicago and San Francisco.  

Mr. Weiss oversees all leasing activity across Vornado’s properties, including its 20 million square foot Manhattan portfolio, the 3.7 million square foot Mart in Chicago, and the 1.8 million square foot 555 California Street complex in San Francisco, managing a leasing team of both internal and external brokers. During his tenure, he has led leasing activity aggregating in excess of 43 million square feet including Vornado’s transformation of the PENN District and hallmark transactions such as NYU’s master lease at 770 Broadway, Citadel’s anchoring of 350 Park Avenue, Meta’s lease of the entire Farley Building, and Neuberger Berman’s global headquarters relocation to 1290 Avenue of the Americas.  

Mr. Weiss is also jointly responsible for overseeing all aspects of Vornado’s real estate portfolio including strategic planning and its operating business as well as intricately involved in all development and acquisitions activities.

Prior to becoming head of Vornado’s leasing in 2007, Mr. Weiss served in various leasing and building management capacities at Vornado and the Mendik Company, which Vornado acquired in 1997. He began his career in 1986 as a 16-year-old Summer Porter at Mendik’s 2 Penn Plaza, interning through high school and college, then moving into building management and ultimately leasing.    

Mr. Weiss is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Board of Governors and served as the 2010 Chairman of the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association. He is active in the community, having received recognition including the 2022 Leonard Litwin Tree of Life Award from the Jewish National Fund, the 2018 Diabetes Research Institute Leadership Award, the 2014 REBNY Young Person of the Year Award, the 2012 Big Brothers Big Sisters Real Estate Award, and the 2010 New York Cares Corporate Community Outreach Award. 

Mr. Weiss earned his B.A. from the University of Delaware and his M.B.A. from Pace University.  

He resides in Livingston, New Jersey with his wife Staci and their 3 daughters – Leah, Emily and Abby.
